Who are you?
I am Kira, a passionate yoga teacher born & raised in the Black Forest living in the Urban Jungle of Berlin. I am a former climate activist and hold a degree in Marketing & Communications.
Why should Yoga be shared with the world?
Yoga helps reduce suffering in both body and mind, which in turn lessens suffering in the world. When we feel free and balanced, we can navigate life with greater clarity and contribute positively to those around us. Its principles offer a beautiful, non-dogmatic way to engage with the modern world—free from rigid hierarchies that often create more suffering.
What do you teach and what is your teaching style?
My teaching style is deeply inspired by the rhythms of nature and my observations of the collective. In my classes, I create a safe space for body, mind, and soul, leaving you feeling grounded.
I teach slow and strong Vinyasa classes like Centered Calm with a focus on the breath and deeply restorative practices like Blissful Rest—a blend of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. This practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system, guiding you into a state of deep rest & digest. It’s especially beneficial if you're lacking sleep, in need of self-care, feeling exhausted, or working on manifesting something in your life.
