Who are you?

My name is Natalie. My passion for Yoga has started only 6 years back, when I first got in contact with the practice. Since then I am not only an enthusiastic student of yoga but also a student of life, a sincere seeker, a playful child, and a channel through which I’m sharing this meaningful practice with others.

Why should Yoga be shared with the world?

Yoga should be shared with the world as it is our birth right to be healthy, happy and free. These ancient practices are a tool that has the ability heal, free and connect in the most effective and natural way. But it is much more, beyond the physical aspects of yoga that are nurturing for body and mind, it is a philosophy and way of life which for me is closest to what I perceive as the truth, so everyone should know about and be able to apply it to their lives.

What do you teach and what is your teaching style?

My teaching style is based on Vinyasa Yoga but also has bits and pieces of other styles such as Hatha and Ashtanga. You can expect a holistic Yoga class from me including chanting, philosophy, Asana, Pranayama and Meditation. I build my classes around a theme, which is often connected to a yogic philosophical concept. I’m also offering variations to make Yoga most inclusive and accessible to everyone.

What is your favorite Asana?

Natarajanasa or dancer pose, not only because it is the embodiment of King Nataraja, a depiction of Shiva, the god of destruction and transformation but also because it is building strength but at the same time is very playful. Some of my friends say it is my signature pose as it is my number one pose in pictures wherever I go - and my Instagram is full of it, check it out ;-)
