Who are you?
My name is Stephanie, and together with Darja, I created the beautiful space of OMNI Yoga. After years of working as an IT Project Manager, I felt the call to make a radical shift—trading screens and deadlines for movement and mindfulness. Yoga became not just a practice, but a passion that reshaped my path, leading me to share its transformative power with others.
Why should Yoga be shared with the world?
Yoga should be shared with the world because it reminds us that we’re not alone. In a fast-paced world, we rarely take the time to slow down, recenter, and simply breathe. But when we step onto the mat, we create space—not just for ourselves, but for connection, presence, and a sense of togetherness.
As a mother, I’ve learned that children are the ultimate yoga challenge. Yoga has been my anchor through the beautiful chaos of motherhood, teaching me to find steadiness when everything else feels unpredictable.
And that’s exactly why yoga matters. It’s more than movement—it’s a practice that supports us through life’s ups and downs, offering balance, clarity, and deep connection.
What do you teach and what is your teaching style?
My teaching style is a balance of strength and softness, effort and ease. I love guiding students through dynamic movements that build heat and energy, then allowing space to pause and integrate. It’s about finding strength while staying calm, getting the heart rate up while remaining grounded, and embracing both challenge and rest in equal measure.
What is your favorite Asana?
Lately, I’ve been discovering true ease and joy in my Downward-Facing Dog. Often referred to as a “home base,” this pose rarely feels like home when you first begin practicing yoga. Even after years on the mat, I continue to experience shifts in alignment, strength, and the balance between effort and ease in this shape. Sometimes, it takes years to fully integrate all the subtle cues and refinements—but that’s the beauty of the practice.
