Who are you?

I’m Darja, together with Stephanie co-founder of OMNI Yoga. After nearly a decade in the banking industry and a degree in business law, I realized that movement had always played a bigger role in my life than legal texts and numbers. I still remember my first yoga class - the teacher began by asking, “How are you feeling today? What are you feeling today?” It struck me that I hadn’t asked myself these questions in a long time. My life had been fast-paced leaving little space for self-reflection. Yoga became my way to pause, to listen and to reconnect with myself.

I am a Mother. Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers on and off the mat. Just like in yoga, it requires presence, patience and the ability to find balance in the midst of change. To be a loving and encouraged mother is to move through life with both resilience and softness - just as we do in practice. Yoga teaches us to breathe through discomfort, to embrace imperfection and to show up fully, even when things feel messy. These lessons mirror the beauty of motherhood, reminding me daily that strength is not just about power but also about grace and deep connection.

Why should Yoga be shared with the world?

Yoga isn’t just about movement - it’s about awareness and presence. In a world that constantly pulls us outward, yoga guides us inward, creating space to feel and to simply be. It’s a practice that supports us in both our strongest and most vulnerable moments, reminding us that we are never alone.

What do you teach and what is your teaching style?

I love strong, dynamic flows that build heat and invite exploration. My classes are about discovering your own potential - challenging yourself while staying connected to your breath and inner stability. Strength and softness, effort and ease, power and surrender - all coexist on the mat, just as they do in life. My goal is to create a space where students can step out of their busy minds, into their bodies and leave feeling both grounded and empowered.

What is your favorite Asana?

Right now, my favorite asana is Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand). It requires both strength and trust—finding balance between control and letting go. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the greatest growth happens when we allow ourselves to lean into the unknown.
